De hecho, esta canción es de The Beatkes, con la firma de Lennon y Mc Cartney pero esta versión gustó bastante y supongoque se debió a que la bella voz de Karen Carpenter bastó para darle el permiso necesario., Este video se hizo en el Mundo de Disney y de hecho, animó a muchos a visitar dicho parque. Una de las baladas más bellas que Karen Carpenter ha interpretado se escuchaba a principios de los 80's y de hecho, no tengo noticia que alguien más la haya grabado y tenido el mismo grado de éxito, salvo que alguien tenga el video que lo pruebe y lo postee.

Pero bueno, me estoy refiriendo a "I need to be in love" (Necesito estar enamorada)

Mientras que en su primera versión el actor de carácter Jonathan Frid (1966) y en 1991, por Ben Cross, finalmente Johnny Depp lo caracterizó . Pero en una escena, se escucha la bella balada country "La cima del mundo" (The top of the world) del año 1973. Esta es una de las canciones mejor elaboradas de este dúo: "Llamando a los emisarios ocupantes interplanetarios emisarios". A cualquiera le hace pensar en que se usó en la película ET pero no fué así. En cambio hicieron la parodia de una transmisión alienígena. Si bien The Beatles lo publicó en su segundo álbum "With The Beatles" en 1963, el tema apareció por primera vez en 1961 interpretado por el grupo femenino norteamericano The Marvelettes. Me imagino, como buen admirador de The Carpenters Saul2004, sabrás que el primer álbum de The Carpenters se llamó "Ticket to ride" que en su momento de lanzamiento inicial en 1969, se publicó con el título de "Ofrenda", con una portada diferente a la que se conoce actualmente y que lamentablemente fue un fracaso comercial y que solo se lanzó un sencillo, justamente el tema compuesto por Lennon y McCartney, de The Beatles, "Ticket to ride".

Era para que puedas postear los videos que puedas captar, lo que sepas y conozcas de este dúo, ni más ni menos, porque veo que eres conocedor y eso es bueno, muy bueno, somos escasos los que sabemos. El que te escribe es un DJ frustrado (Y hablo de esa generación de Disc Jockeys que conocen la música que propagan y otras, conocen de ésas reactualizaciones y son una barrera contra la piratería) conocemos de esa música y compartimos las cosas buenas de la vida, ya que muchas veces las radios de ahora no despliegan toda la música de tal o cual(es) artista(s) sino que repiten mucho ciertas grabacionesy uchos de las actuales generaciones creen que al igual que sus reguetoneros, nuestros artistas favoritos son de un solo éxito y sabes muy bien que Carpenters PERTENECE A LA CATEGORÍA DE 30 ÉXITOS A MÁS Y SON CLÁSICOS.
