Spanish Shower (just cold water - lots of it): Yes. There's regular showers, too.
Jacuzzi: Yes, and different than other places. There are a few one-person ones, and a few that handle 3 people or so, out on the main floor.
Rooms for 'resting' (descanso): On the second floor of the spa, there's a room with about a dozen Barcaloungers with personal TVs. (updated May 2011)
Gym: Yup. Two bikes, two Elliptical machines, a treadmill, and a free weight contraption.
Snack Bar: Yes. It is not cheap, as Banos Turcos snack bars go.
Massages: Yes, professional ones. There were three girls there this afternoon. The massage was excellent, and as legit as you can imagine.

RT here. I was wandering around Lince this afternoon when I saw this apparently new hotel with a big sign in the window advertising the sauna and massages. I went in. I'm not sure just how new the place is, but it (the hotel and the spa) were clean, shiny, well-kept and fairly modern. The girl at the front desk directed to the second floor for the spa.

Check in was normal, except they had electronic locks for your stuff at the counter, and the lockers were controlled with an RF chip in your bracelet.

When I entered the spa area, I wished I had my camera. The place was big, spotless, and very impressive. I steamed, sweated and rested before heading upstairs.

The second floor of the spa had the gym, two internet terminals, the rest area, the bar/kitchen, and a bull pen for the masajistas. The girls were all in their late 20s, and OK looking, but NOT dressed like hookers.

I jumped on the internet and browsed the Spanish side of PeruTops and read reports that the massages here were legit. I was on a fact-finding mission (have a date later), so this was OK by me.

I asked one of the girls if she was ready, and off we went. The entire massage was performed with a towel covering whatever side was facing up, and she did a hell of a job. After what seemed like two hours (it was one hour and five minutes), we were done. She gave me the slip to sign, and had already put the 40 Soles in the massage price. I had no idea what to tip, so I matched the house fee, and she seemed pleased.

This was an excellent Banos Turcos. I am just surprised to find a legit place smack dab in the middle of Lince. I would go there again, and for the guys that write and ask where they can get 'just a massage', here's one of your answers.

 

The rack rates were pretty high, but there was a sign at the front desk noting that room prices were in the US$40-$70 range, I think. Perhaps one of our local foristas can make a phone call and confirm.

Well, according to this thread in the Spanish section (starting with post #46), some of the massage women at La Princessa now offer additional services.

I 0nly wish that I had read the Spanish section prior to my visit last week... there were a couple of beautiful women in the bullpen when I went for my massage. That's what I get for not doing my research. :cry:

The Spanish thread on La Princesa referenced above has been severely edited, but it still seems that services are being offered. Can someone with a better understanding of Spanish pass by and explain the deal? I **think** that the masajistas' clothes are color-coded by which ones do and which ones don't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From the reading of both threads I conclude the following:

There are three kinds of girls at that place: The Specialists (in white blouses) who will give you a pedicure, a manicure or other such services. The Masseuses (in pink blouses) who will give you professional massages but no sex, no blowjob, not even a handjob. The Kines (in fucsia blouses) who will give you a pseudo massage and, after agreeing on a price, all sexual services.

According to the latests reports, the kines are no longer wearing their fucsia blouses but are clearly noticed by their scant clothing, high heels and sexy behavior. It's also been reported that some masseuses (pink blouses) have agreed to sex with some of their regular customers, but it takes a lot of flirting and perseverance.

I have never been there, all the info above is my interpretation of what has been posted at the spanish forum, I hope it helps. In any case, I'd edit the "/ no sex??" part from this thread's title; there is definitely sex there.

 

RT here. I stopped by the La Princessa last week, and it was absolutely clear that there was more than just straight massages going on there.

Aside from the dowdy-looking girls in the white massage uniforms, there were girls who were dressed as very obvious hookers. In my opinion, it was a good thing, as some of these girls looked as if they were born to be naked and writhing under some guy.

The latest posts in the spanish section list the 'tip' for full service as ranging from 180 to 250 sols. That's higher than many other saunas, so you'll have to do your own price vs. beauty assessment.

On another note, they have installed personal TVs at each of the lounge chairs in the 'descansa' area. The speakers are in the back of the seat, by your head. It's pretty cool.

 

RT here. I spent a very nice afternoon at the Princesa today.

First, the spa is now open 24 hours a day (I will update the first post on this thread to reflect the new times).

Second, Sundays are no longer co-ed... men 0nly all the time.

Also of note, the gym equipment was back. There were two bicycles, two elliptical machines, a treadmill, and a multi-use weight machine.

Additionally, there is a raffle twice a day (at 3 & 8 pm) for a half-hour massage session. I guess you pick the type, and then tip appropriately.

There were a half dozen (or more) 'legit' massage girls (and women), and four or five who were there for the, uh, relax aspects of things. The girls are not very aggressive there... I had to let one catch me staring three times before she came over and made her sales pitch.

The facilities were in great shape, the towel guy filled one of the private jacuzzis for me, and the frozen lemonade was tasty.

This place has now moved up on my rotation list of Banos Turcos.

Last time I checked, there were 0nly the professional masseuses, therefore no sex services can be expected.

 

RT here. This is a little late, but when I was putting together my stuff for my upcoming trip, I found some notes.

On my November trip, there was signage that the place was co-ed every day. There was what appeared to be a new, separate dressing room for women. However, on this afternoon visit, there were 0nly male customers.

Of note, the towel boys happily filled my request for a towel large enough for my portly frame.

Of more important note, there were what certainly looked to be hookers mixed in with the regular massage girls in the massage bullpen. Granted, this was back at the end of November and things change, but they were there.

 

RT here. I went to the Spa La Princessa yesterday.

It appears that the La Princessa has gone back to a 'no sex' policy again (they seem to flip-flop every so often). The place was teeming with women in white massage uniforms, but they were of all shapes, sizes and ages, and did not offer any hope of anything more than what would be 'regular' services.

I did, however, allow a 19-year-old young lady to spend one hour worshiping and rubbing my feet. They called it a foot massage; I called it heaven. The 0nly problem was that when I moaned as she hit a sensitive spot, she would avoid the spot even though that's where I wanted the pressure applied the most. My kindergarten-like Spanish wasn't good enough to convey what I wanted... maybe yours would be.

The entrance fee was 25 soles. Entrance plus a half hour massage was 50 soles (a 5-sol discount, as 30 minutes is usually 30 soles), and one hour was 50 soles, and you supposedly got a free bottle of water, but I never got mine.

The steam room was VERY hot, and the dry room was as it should be. The comfy chairs have individual televisions. If you're not looking to get laid, this is a fine place to kill a few hours. I got there at 2 and left at 5:30.
