Der MDR präsentiert am 14. Oktober die TV-Premiere dieses einzigartigen Open Airs. Die Zuschauer dürfen sich freuen auf herrliche Melodien aus Musical, Film, Oper und Operette sowie Schlager und romantische Walzer. Gemeinsam mit seinem beeindruckenden Johann Strauss Orchester und zahlreichen internationalen Solisten feierte André Rieu eine fröhliche und emotionale Party, die mit einem großen Feuerwerk endete.
Ein wahrhaft grandioses TV-Ereignis, das Jung und Alt gleichermaßen in den Bann zieht. Zu den zahlreichen Highlights gehören Welthits, wie die "Ballade pour Adeline", "Can't Help Falling in Love", "Volare", "Bolero", "An der schönen blauen Donau" oder "Highland Cathedral" mit rund 300 Dudelsackspielern. Der emotionale Höhepunkt des über zweistündigen Konzertes war der französische ESC-Titel "Voilà", gesungen von der außergewöhnlichen 15-jährigen Sängerin Emma Kok, die das Publikum zu Tränen rührte.
Für André Rieu und sein weltberühmtes Johann Strauss Orchester gehören die Sommerkonzerte auf dem stimmungsvollsten Platz der Niederlande zu den Höhepunkten des Jahres. Das große Maastricht Konzert 2023 - ein Feuerwerk der klassischen Musik, das Ihnen noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
