RT here. The Marriott has poker going on every night. I believe that Atlantic City does as well. The new Casino (Fiesta) has a separate 'Poker Room'. I haven't checked it out (I don't play), but if there's a room, there are probably tournaments, too. Good luck. Let us know what you find out -- I'm sure other guys have the same question!

Where is the best place in Lima to play poker? Do they have Texas Hold 'Em anywhere? Any info would be appreciated!

Just in case someone comes here looking for poker info: Atlantic city has a 5/5 soles NL Hold'em game going every night of the week. Sometimes when the right people are there the game gets bumped to 5/10. In December I saw a 5/10 USD game going, but that seems to have been an exception since it's almost always 5/5 soles. There are frequently straddles in both the 5/5 and 5/10 soles game. The rake is ridiculous - 5% uncapped. It's also, usually, a great, fun, and friendly atmosphere They also have a tournament planned every night of the week, but I don't know much about it. I think the buy-in and structure varies from night to night. It seems that usually it's a really small buy-in at 100 or 200 soles with a number of rebuys that I don't know anything about. The room itself is really nice and somewhat decently run. It's secluded from the casino floor so it's nice and quiet. There are free drinks(not sure about strong alcohol), snacks, light sandwiches, and in the weekend they had some sort of buffet(Pizza, arroz con pollo and the likes) that was served when the tournament was on break. Being a friendly game the normal rules aren't really enforced that strictly, so you might experience some stuff that wouldn't fly in a more serious game. It's not too bad though, mainly people talking about stuff they shouldn't talk about in the middle of hands and stuff like that. I've been to Majestic at Marriott once where they had 3 tables of NL Hold'em going - two 5/5 and one 5/10. The place is really small, bad chairs, and really noisy since it's right next to the casino floor and not in a seperate room. I was there on a Thursday, so the number of tables might differ from day to day, but I've 0nly been there the one time since I much prefer Atlantic City over Majestic.
