at which age is sex legal in Peru?
Generally, 16 years?
Pay sex, 18 years?

Reference for answer should be an adult man. But of course, all relevant information is welcome.

In some countries in Europe you can have (legal) sex with age of 16.
Under this age, both must be almost at the same age...

 

the minimum legal age in Perú is 18 years old, but beware you could be accused also of sexual harrassment by a teen and spend some time in jail; it is advisable to ask for her DNI if you want to do something more than to take a few drinks with a chick; the police could made a surprise intervention at any time and you could finnish screw up!!!!

 

Fortunately Peru is not in Europe. Legal age here is 18 and that is more than young enough.

To me, the idea of adult men having sex with children is revolting. Much more disgusting is the idea of adult men looking for ways to do it legally.

 

If I am bit pedantic, I could ask is it revolting, that a 18-21 year old boy has sex with a 17 year old girl?

Still rhetoric question: what is "disgusting"? I can imagine a lot of things which I would find really disgusting (I would never do, but a lot of people like it) and it would not become less disgusting because the girl is 18 and not 17... but let us stop.

You are right, it is not revolting but it is still illegal.

If a 18 years old boy is caught having sex with his 17 years old girlfriend, he may not go to jail; especially if they can prove that they had been having sex since when both were underage. But if her parents have the money and the will, the boy will end up in jail nonetheless. A project-law (also known as "the boyfriend law") depenalising consented sex for children older than 16 yo (or 14 yo, I don't remember it well), was recently rejected at the congress.

Personally, I'm all for the young girls, the younger the better, but I always make sure they are of legal age. The risks are just too high.

 

In most of the countries you will go to jail for sex with minors.
