I stayed twice during my recent trip to peru and found all the staff very friendly and the rooms are basic but you are paying very little compared to the other hotels nearby.

You can not go wrong but dont have high expectations as you get what you pay for.

The prices we have to remind our self are in sol's so they are very cheap compared to the other hotels that advertise in dollars. 70 sol's is about 24 dollars which is a scratch on the 100 dollar hotels.

If you can manage to live without the luxuries of the mid to high end hotel then you can have a weeks stay for the price of 2 nights at a 100 dollar place and you wont get grief about bringing in girls and the constant disapproving stares. also, most of the time you wont even be there!!

I stayed at the ML and it was fine but i think that for a night you should spoil your self and go to a nice hotel and the other days you can save your cash to spend at other venues. Lets be honest most of the girls that you take to your hotel are professional and they wont we wooed by the luxurious surroundings of your hotel.

Personally, if i was staying for a long time (month) then I might consider asking for a discount but if I had to stay for a long period might as well get an appartment.

I was there a few months ago and they were doing renovations to the hallways. New light colored tiles were being installed on the upper levels. I was told that the rooms were soon to be renovated also.
The rooms were 70 soles per night for the single and 80 soles for the double (full size bed). I made my reservation by email a month earlier and when I arrived had no trouble checking in.
My room was on the second floor facing the street. It’s a quiet side street so no trouble with traffic noise.
The stairs are conveniently located near the entrance and was able to take my date upstairs without using the elevator.
I liked the price and the central location, and will definitely be back.

Cash 0nly, and paid in advance. I paid 180 soles for a room with Jacuzzi and balcony.

Here are the current rates for this hotel. Still cash 0nly and it is recommended to make reservations. Renovations are complete and the rooms and hallways look nicer. We had to spend the night there since our flight arrived late and our apartment was not ready until the following afternoon.
