Map of essential clubs, saunas and hotels in Lima

OK, here's the updated version, with a couple of extra things added, and the locations pinpointed a bit better. Hope this helps.

My last report on the one I listed was about a month old, but if things have changed (and this is true of all things on the map) then we can certainly edit it. I expect it will always remain a work in progress, and I'm happy to edit or change anything based on new info, since this is for everybody's use, and in everybody's best interest.. If you guys will provide the info then I'll make the changes!

 

I just spent about 15 minutes looking everywhere in this page trying to find where to click to thank Shadowman for a great post. That map is excellent. Thank you.

 

I keep forgetting to put this in when I do these posts, but for those of you who don't use Google maps or are unfamiliar with them then it works like this:

Somebody on the other forum asked me what good the map does if you can't get close enough in to distinguish detail. OK, if you've never seen or used a Google map before by double clicking on an area it will zoom in on the area for you. You can also use the meter on the left hand side with the plus and minus sign on it for zoom purposes. If you have a scrolling wheel on your mouse then that will also zoom in and out for you.

Also, if you left click and hold you can drag the map left and right or up and down to the area you want and then zoom in or out as you like. If you look at the upper right hand side you can see where it says "map", "satellite" and "terrain". If you click to Satellite and zoom in then you can even see what the buildings on the map actually look like.

Also, if you click on the names of the things listed on the left hand side of the map then it will highlight where that specific place is on the map, so for example if you click on the "Hotel Maria Luisa" title in the menu on the left them then it will highlight that item on the map for you, and a balloon will pop out with the information attached to that location (address, phone number etc)

Tell me what you guys want added in, and whatever information you have. If I have the info I can add prices, websites, more hotels, whatever you guys think is important. You tell me what you want, help me with the info, and we can make this a definitive source that everyone can use.

 

OK. Also attached the links available for the various banos turkos so helpfully provided by RT Gooch in his banos turcos thread yesterday.

 

Added the Adam Spa and the Apart Suite hotel. Any new spots you guys want to add, or any info on pricing for anything on the map, would be great. I would add what I know, but I'm months out of date on the pricing, so if you guys will help out then I'll keep it current for everyone.

OK, I have now added in all the stuff from the other map on ISAW that wasn't on my map, and I have better organized the information to be more easily accessible. This way you need 0nly access the one map, instead of both.The clubs I have added from the other map are obviously using that info, and I make no guarantees as to what they have on theirs.

As always, I make no recommendations of any of these places, and no guarantees as to the current status of any of them. I rely on you guys for updates, so if there are any changes please let me know. I's like to make this as comprehensive and up to date map as possible, so as to be of the most help to the most people. Enjoy!
