Deeper Professor Wolfson doesn't just perform memorable experiments. He introduces basic mathematics to analyze situations in
detail?for example, by calculating exactly the speed a rollercoaster needs to travel to keep passengers from falling out at
the top of a loop-the-loop track, or by showing that the reason high voltage is used for electrical power transmission is
revealed in the simple expression that applies Ohm's law, relating current and voltage, to the formula for power. You also
see how amazing insights can be hidden in seemingly trivial mathematical details. Antimatter was first postulated when
physicist Paul Dirac was faced with a square root term in an equation, and instead of throwing out one of the answers as
would normally have been done, he decided to pursue the implications of two solutions. Whenever Professor Wolfson introduces

the world around you." About Your Professor Professor Richard Wolfson is Benjamin F. Wissler Professor of Physics at
Middlebury College in Vermont, and he also teaches in Middlebury's Environmental Studies Program. He did undergraduate work
at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at Swarthmore College, graduating from Swarthmore with a double major in
physics and philosophy. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Physics from
Dartmouth. Professor Wolfson's textbooks include three editions of Physics for Scientists and Engineers, coauthored with Jay
M. Pasachoff; two editions of Essential University Physics; two editions of Energy, Environment, and Climate; and Essential
College Physics, coauthored with Andrew Rex. His other works include Nuclear Choices: A Citizen's Guide to Nuclear
Technology, and Simply Einstein: Relativity Demystified. His other published work encompasses diverse fields such as medical
physics, plasma physics, solar energy engineering, electronic circuit design, observational astronomy, theoretical
astrophysics, nuclear issues, and climate change. His current research involves the eruptive behavior of the sun's outer
atmosphere, or corona, as well as terrestrial climate change and the sun?Earth connection. Dr. Wolfson has spent sabbaticals
at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado; at St. Andrews University in Scotland; and at Stanford

What If, sometimes rendered as What If...?, is the title of several comic book series published by Marvel Comics, exploring "the road not traveled" by its various characters. Events in the series are considered separate from mainstream continuity in the Marvel Universe.

The stories in the initial 1977-1984 series featured the alien Uatu the Watcher as narrator. The observer of events transpiring on Earth from his base on the moon, Uatu, a member of an immortal race of Watchers, is also able to observe what transpires in alternate realities. Thus, What If stories usually began with Uatu briefly recapping a notable event in the mainstream Marvel Universe, then indicating a particular point of divergence in that event. He would then demonstrate, by way of looking into a parallel reality, what could have happened if events had taken a different course from that point.

Gracias, (si no fueras autómata te dejaría thanks ) What if es una serie de Marvel que imaginaba escenarios alternativos para historias del universo real de Marvel, en una traducción libre significaría "¿Y qué tal si...?" Spiderman hubiese conservado los seis brazos/Punisher hubiera destruido Marvel/Doom hubiera conseguido las gemas del Universo/ Capitán América hubiera ganado la Civil War (creo que había hasta tres what if de Civil War)/etc. Aunque los de la colección son hasta el 98 y creo que no he leído ninguno de esa época. Será motivo.
Para visualizar archivos CBR usen CDisplay o sino abran el archivo en "abrir como" con la opción rar (o zip según el caso) para descomprimirlo en carpeta de imágenes. Lo más cómodo es leerlo con CDisplay.
