TERROR. VIOLENCIA. LOCURA. CAOS. Un paraíso turístico enloquecido. Una isla tropical cae totalmente presa del caos tras el estallido de una misteriosa epidemia zombi. Aislado del resto del mundo, la única posibilidad de supervivencia del jugador es luchar por su vida y hallar una salida de la isla.

Dead Island combina la acción en primera persona con una atención especial al combate cuerpo a cuerpo, el desarrollo de personajes y la personalización de una larga serie de armas. Todas estas características del juego se presentan inmersas en una historia oscura inspirada en las películas clásicas de zombis, con una audaz y absorbente campaña donde podrán jugar hasta 4 jugadores en modo cooperativo.

Situado en una isla tropical por la que te podrás mover libremente, hordas de putrefactos y variados zombis esperan a los jugadores por todas partes mientras éstos intentan superar una gran variedad de emocionantes pruebas a lo largo del complejo turístico. Con armas de fuego y escasa munición, los jugadores deberán innovar creando armas para poder defenderse haciendo uso de los objetos que vayan encontrando, luchando cuerpo a cuerpo contra los zombis. Existe una gran diversidad de objetos que poder recoger y que más tarde servirán para transformarlos en intrumentos con un gran poder destructivo.

Además de dejar con un buen sabor de boca a los fans más fieles a la acción más sangrienta, Dead Island también cuenta con elementos RPG que permiten al jugador desarrollar las peculiares clases de personajes que tiene el juego a su antojo, así como aprender nuevas habilidades y tácticas durante su estancia en la isla. Y lo que es más increíble, en cualquier momento durante la partida, hasta tres jugadores más se pueden unir a tu juego y vivir contigo la intensa experiencia de forma cooperativa.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon es un videojuego de la saga Mortal Kombat desarrollada por Midway Games. Este juego representa una continuación directa de Mortal Kombat: Deception. El juego ya vendio más de 2 millones de copias por todo el mundo.

Jugabilidad
En cuanto al eje principal del juego, el modo Kombate, reutiliza tanto el motor gráfico como el de la jugabilidad de MK Deception, pero con sustanciales mejoras y añadidos. Ahora podemos llevar combate al aire, y hacer combos frenéticos mientras los luchadores están a varios metros por encima del suelo.
También hay un nuevo sistema de detener ataques con movimientos ?parry?, que se añaden a los ?combo breakers? de MK Deception. Los ?parry? requieren cierta intuición, ya que hay que efectuarlos justo antes de que el contrario ataque, y así, poder cambiar las tornas.

Instalacion:

Fantasy Wars is a turn-based hexagonal wargame set in a fantasy world. After many centuries of peace, the human Empire of Eolia is at war. Influential lords have founded their own kingdoms and try to occupy as many territory as possible. The internal struggle weakens the human race and makes it vulnerable for attacks from orcs and goblins from the south. Outnumbered, the humans ally with the elves and dwarfs to withstand the invasion.

There are three campaigns to choose from: Humans, Orcs and Alliance, and the third 0nly becomes available after finishing the first two. While playing, the 3D environment is covered with a grid of hexagonal cells. 0nly one unit can occupy a single hex. Armies consists of various fantasy creatures that can be deployed. Typically the player need to complete quests that involve occupying new towns or taking out other armies. More than 500 units can enter the battlefield simultaneously. Various camera positions provide panoramic overviews as well as close-ups from the battles.

Each unit has detailed characteristics based on experience, hit points, artifacts, protection, movement, speed, range of sight, attacks and special abilities. In a single turn, players can move units around, command them to attack or deploy new units from the reserve list. When attacking, a battle forecast is shown, predicting the losses for both sides. Players can improve their chances by tactically positioning the units on higher ground or according to their abilities for melee, ranged, covered, magic or flying attacks.

New units can be bought during the missions and taking them through many battles provides level ups and new perks, up to five levels. Armies also come with very strong units known as heroes. They can level up ten times. The death of the hero commander usually means the mission is failed.

To get an overview of the entire battlefield, there is a 2D strategic map. Both offline hot seat and online multiplayer games are supported.
