In the Spanish forum I see the phrase "CALIDAD DE POLVO" used in the ratings. I'm assuming it means quality of the sex but polvo when translated to English means dust. How does dust = sex? Just curious if anyone could explain the term to me. I'm assuming it's slang but I'm just guessing.

You are right. It is peruvian slang and it means sex, as in the act of having sex. It is used in several ways quite difficult to translate: "dar el polvo" means "to come" "un buen polvo" means "a good fuck" "echarse un polvo" means "to get laid" ... and so on. How did "dust" become a synonym of sex? Who knows man, probably no one knows.

Hi, it seems to be a very weird thing. Actually, "pudern" (to powder) is very old Viennese slang for having sex. Since we're talking about the 17-18th century, I presume it has to do with the talcum powder people did use to "forget about being unwashed for a while" before the fight... How the heck Vienna shares this expression with Peru I really can't figure out... Cheers!

It seems than the meaning of the word dust, it has to do with the definition that our good friend Satanás remembers us, ( it seems like he listened, those biblical words ).
