    I have been corresponding with them with respect to renting an apartment there, but I'm not getting answers to all my questions, and they are asking for 50% up front, via PayPal or Western Union, which makes me very wary of using them.

    Any experiences to share?

    Here's a thread that discusses it.

    In the time since I posted my comments in that thread, I have again stayed in their apartments and everything was as advertised. The apartments aren't the most modern, but everything works, and you've got privacy and a good location.

    If your 0nly concern is the money in advance, don't let that stand in your way. I have found them to be honest people, just trying to make a buck.

    Thanks, that helps. I'm always a bit concerned when someone asks for cash unseen, and by Paypal or Western Union. Glad to know they're honest.
